Description

Upgraded Torx pattern screws for your upper receiver rail.  The receiver rail is the one that your cam-pin rides on.  Only on the left side of the SCAR (opposite ejection side).  Turn these fasteners into Torx pattern drive to make them less of a headache to remove and install when stripping down your upper.  You wouldn’t want those hex screws down the side of your SCAR ruining your ALL-torx look would you?

FUN FACT!  The 3 screws in this set are all 6mm length and can be used to replace fasteners for all the plastic accessories found elsewhere on the SCAR.  The teardrop barrel screw shrouds, and the brass deflector parts.  Use some tact and common sense instead of a prescribed torque value for these little plastic parts, they can damage.  Torx your whole entire SCAR and live the ultimate Insta-hottness!!

  • Compatible with SCAR 16 17 and 20
  • A2 Stainless Steel material (Same as OEM)
  • Apply your favorite flavor of thread locker (Mototech recommends Loctite Medium 242)
  • Max torque prescribed is 30 in-lb for these screws

This is what FN should have used from the factory, the hex key screws strip too easily and are a royal PITA to replace. Awesome replacement and an often overlooked upgrade.

This is what FN should have used from the factory, the hex key screws strip too easily and are then a royal PITA to remove. Awesome replacement and an often overlooked upgrade, no more stripped screws.
